I am an outlaw shaman, spell breaker and author. I describe myself as such because I take my students beyond the watered-down, westernized versions of shamanism. I plumb the mysteries with curiosity and courage, leading participants out of the cultural mass-trance and into the territory of the sacred. I work for Terra, Mother Earth, who is my benevolent guide and teacher.

My offerings focus on the shamanic mysteries of working with the spirit realms, the natural plant and animal world around us, and the development of our intrinsic abilities—intuition, creativity and multi-dimensionality. I also teach the blood mysteries—the beauty and power of the maiden, mother, and crone. In addition, my work delves into the sacred womb, honoring and opening women to this altar within the temple of their body.

Furthermore, I teach effective and empowering techniques that shift old behavior patterns, open the channels to direct connection with the spirit realms, and enable participants to manifest with ease. I create a safe container of caring and kindness for my students and clients, along with a healthy dose of humor. I have found laughter to be a most powerful medicine. One of my teachers says, “The good shamans have the giggle.” I have found that to be true, and my classes and gatherings are always lively and fun.

Having studied extensively with master teachers and shamans, Tom Kenyon, Dr. Brugh Joy, Isabelle Lambert, William Rand, Miguel Angel Vergara, Patricia White Buffalo, and John Knowlton, I have now taken their great teachings and combined them with my own wisdom, which has produced a truly life-enhancing practice for my private clients and students. I absolutely love this work and I am ever grateful for the opportunity to inspire others to step into their power.

Ix Chel Wisdom: 7 Teachings from the Mayan Sacred Feminine and the upcoming book, Love and Spirit Medicine, are books I have written particularly for women – although men might enjoy reading them as well. These books speak very intimately, expressing my own experiences working with Spirit and putting forth that guidance in my own life. They are an inspiring read and would make a much-treasured gift.

Recently, I began channeling for a group of spirit beings that identify themselves as ‘Bird Tribe.’ These beings are incredibly wise and loving. They do not seek to be authorities in any way. They have said they are here to “assist,” providing us with keys to our personal evolution. I offer group channelings as well as individual sessions for those interested.
