Palenque - October 28th 2012

Presenters --- Itinerary ---- Prices

The year 2012 marks the end of the Mayan Calendar and heralds the birth of a new era: one of peace, love, and light. We are being called to action, to do our part in creating the new world we want to live in. Join us on this journey as Mother Earth, expressed through the Mayan Goddess IxCheel, guides us to the Mayan Sacred Wisdom found in the ancient ceremonial sites and the natural wonders of Chiapas. On this Sacred Path of Mother Earth we will explore the many ways we can bring this new world into existence. The Spirit World is very much involved in the creation of this new era, this evolutionary leap, and it is more than ready to assist. The dates of our journey coincide with Hanal Pixan, the Day of the Dead, a time when the Maya honor the spirits, a time when the veil between the material and the spiritual worlds is at its thinnest. The Maya people still consider these days as an important connection with those who have left this dimension and see this as a time to reconnect with them, honor them, bringing special offerings like chocolate, café, tobacco, bread, flowers, to honor their memory. This is a time when some very special work can be done on many levels.

Miguel Angel Vergara leads us in ceremonies, teachings, and meditations to help us connect with the ancient teachers who await us in Palenque, Yaxchilan, Tonia, and throughout the jungles, rivers, stones, waterfalls, and mountains encountered on our journey. Shonagh Home joins him in keeping us connected with the Divine Mother each step of the way. Learn from her as she channels the wisdom of IxCheel, leads us in a Full Moon ceremony, and shares her deep connection with the Sacred.

The intent is for you to return home grounded in the Ancient Maya Wisdom, and in harmony with Mother Earth. This program will present you with opportunities to gather guides, energy, teachings, anzd techniques to help you connect deeply with the Divine Mother and, through her, connect with your authentic self.

Miguel Angel Vergara

miguelMiguel Angel is a Maya Priest and Master Teacher who lives and works in Yucatán, Mexico. He studied with Maya Elder Vincente Martín for 17 years and continues to work with the Elders and Priests who are keeping the Maya Sacred Wisdom very much alive today. He was a director at Chichen Itza for four years and has written books and given lectures and conferences on the Maya Sacred Knowledge throughout North America and Europe.

Miguel Angel teaches us how to connect with the Maya Masters of Light who are still at the sacred sites ready to guide us today as in ancient times. Going to the source of the Maya knowledge: to the ceremonies, rituals, mantras, sacred books, pyramids, temples, stele, pottery, paintings, sculptures, and oral traditions that are available today, Miguel Angel finds the essence of their knowledge and then teaches it in a heart-centered style that connects rapidly and profoundly with his students. He humbly and sincerely weaves a path to the pure authentic essence of the Maya cosmology and creates a space with beautiful ceremonies and stories where you can transform yourself and find your true Spiritual Path.

Miguel Angel Vergara’s mission is to share the Maya Sacred Teachings through the study of their science, art, philosophy, and religion. He currently leads spiritual tours throughout the Maya world and conducts workshops and seminars on the Maya Wisdom in Mexico, USA, Canada, and Europe. He can be reached at miguelangel@casakin.org.

Testimonial:
I just embarked on a journey to my deepest self.
It wasn't clear to me what this training would manifest but now, after my 1st weekend spent with Shonagh and the other beautiful women in our group I know. I'm glad I trusted my heart and signed up without really knowing.
I found my power again, I expanded my knowledge regarding my purpose in this life, I deeply connected with my sister participants on such a splendid level and I shed so many things, issues and stories that do not belong in my being. My heart is opened up wide.
I know this is the beginning of a walk I have been searching for and it feels so pure and right.
I trust and appreciate the work Shonagh has done and love learning from this wise Medicine Woman. She is a Master Teacher.
If you have a calling to do this work, don't wait. You will begin the journey to all of the realms with amazing speed and clarity.

With love and gratitude,
Barbara Barry

Itinerary

Daily Itinerary:

Oct 28: ARRIVAL

Arrive in Villahermosa and be transferred to your hotel. There are flights from Houston every evening on Continental and many flights from Mexico City all day. There are no meals or events planned for today so book the flight that works best for you. (o/n Villahermosa)

Oct 29: PALENQUE & FULL MOON CEREMONY

We have breakfast together at the hotel where you will meet out guides, Miguel Angel and Shonagh. We then leave for the magnificent waterfalls at Mishol Ha for a cleansing ceremony and a meditation inside the cave of Mother Earth. Here, within this cave in the mountain, you will have the opportunity to reconnect with the womb, the source of life with Mother Earth.

We now make our first visit to the ancient site of Palenque to honor the Masters of Light of Palenque, particularly Lady Zak –Kuuk (White Heron) who represents the Sacred Feminine Principle which is very strong in Palenque.

Tonight we bring all the energy of the day and invite IxCheel to join us in honoring the Full Moon with a special ceremony. (o/n Palenque) B

Oct 30: YAXCHILAN

We have an early departure this morning, stopping for breakfast on the way at a wonderful jungle restaurant. Yaxchilan is our destination and once we reach the Usamacinta River we can look forward to a river journey to this amazing site.

Yaxchilan is a very special site, located deep in the jungle, accessible only by water. Here the new priestesses who had the gift in their spirits to be prophets were taught. One of the main aspects that we need to take in consideration during our visit is that Yaxchilan was a top university where the teachers taught how to travel in the astral dimension in order to find answers regarding the future of humankind. If you look carefully at the different designs of the crosses in the clothing of the Maya priestesses of Yaxchilan it will give you a clue about their work. This design, the cross, is a symbol connected with the other dimensions to which they were able to travel.

Here we will participate in a Ceremony to honor Mother Earth.

We travel back on the River to Escudo Jaguar where we have a late lunch before returning to Palenque. (o/n Palenque) B & L

Oct 31: SAN CRISTOBAL DE LAS CASAS

We depart from Palenque early this morning and through the beautiful scenery of Chiapas with its mountains, rivers and spectacular waterfalls. We should arrive early enough to check into our hotel and take a walking tour of center. You then have a free evening to enjoy this magical city. (o/n San Cristobal) B, L

Nov 1: SAN JUAN CHAMULA

This morning we will travel the short distance to the town of San Juan Chamula, where you will witness the Maya indigenous people performing their ancient rituals and offerings to their gods and goddesses. We will visit the church, a powerful modern day Maya experience, and see how they are able to stay connected to their roots. There will be time to visit the extensive market outside the church before heading out to the nearby town of Zinacantan. Here, the Bat people wear the traditional dress and create the wonderful weavings, the express in a time honored way, the connection with the elements of life, with Mother Nature. (San Cristobal) B

Nov 2: TONIA

On our way back down the mountains to Palenque we will visit the ancient site of Tonia to perform a ceremony of gratitude and to honor the spirits here at this spectacular site. You might want to pick up some flowers, crystals, or other offerings that you can leave here for our Mother.

This peaceful, little known site, is a true gift from the ancient ones. Here we will visit the “Celestial Temple of the Mother”, where you will find a representation of the 9 higher spiritual levels of consciousness of our Mother. (o/n Palenque) B, D

Nov 3: PALENQUE

On this second visit to Palenque we go to the level of the Sky; the Pyramid of the Mother, the Temple of the Sun, the Temple of the Cross, the Temple of the Foliated Cross, and the central Pyramid. These are connected strongly with the five elements of life, built in this area by the Maya to join the source of universal life. We will do a meditation in order to connect with that source.

Following our visit we will have a farewell lunch together and travel to Villahermosa. (o/n Villahermosa) B and lunch

Nov 4: DEPARTURE

Transfer from your hotel to the airport in Villahermosa for your flight home.

SHONAGH HOME is offering a special two day workshop to follow this journey. Those interested will stay in Palenque for the nights of November 3 and 4 returning to Villahermosa on the night of the 5th to be ready for any early departures on the morning of November 6 from Villahermosa.

Assisting the Spirits – Heart-Centered Depossession and Curse Unraveling

"This is an area of shamanism that few explore, yet so many people are in need of this work, especially in our toxic culture. Contrary to the traumatic and drama-filled depossession techniques of the catholic church, this shamanic practice releases both the host and the spirit in a non-judgmental and honoring way, bringing healing and freedom to both parties. The work itself is profound. The practitioner engages directly with specific spirit helpers who assist the possessing spirit to leave the body of the host and cross over to the other side. I am in awe of the experience every time I engage it. To see the client completely transform before my eyes is an extraordinary site. And to feel the spirit cross is just wondrous. I cannot say enough about this powerful work. It must be taught and it must be made available to the many people (and spirits) who need it."
